     This section focuses on the Shadow Program in place at the Albany Crime Lab for students interested in career opportunities in the filed and links to colleges offering majors in Forensic Science and links to professionals in the field.

     The Shadow Program at the Albany Crime Lab offers 1-2 Bronx Science seniors the unique opportunity to work along with scientists at the Albany Crime lab. In addition to learning cutting edge techniques, students learn the appropriate application of these methods in a crime-solving environment. They are able to see these procedures in practice by interacting with scientists, law enforcement officials and attorneys in the field of forensic investigations. Through this interaction, they are able to learn about career opportunities, as well as, meet individuals who offer them support and guidance as they enter the field.
