- Stanford National Forensic Institute:
A national caliber summer forensics program held at Stanford University. The SNFI offers a unique program which features a three week policy debate program and a two week LD and IE program that attract over 400 students annually. Four levels of instruction are offered to insure that all students receive a challenging and academically appropriate experience. SNFI provides serious students of debate the opportunity to interact with some of the finest and most renowned forensics instructors in the nation at an incomparable cost for a program of this nature, quality and location.

Description: This is Crime Scene Investigation camp. Students will receive expert instruction from FBI Investigators, State Police, ballistics experts, scientists and a professional psychological profiler. The director of the camp is Dr. Lynda McMaster-Schuyler, doctor of environmental medicine.
- The University of Findlay:
The university provides two, four day forensic science summer camps for high school students. They give an introduction to the world of forensic science, criminal justice and law. The forensic camp allows students to experience a behind the scenes look at crime scenes, forensic science and criminal investigations. Students are provided the opportunity to use deductive reasoning and scientific skills to uncover and explore the mystery of a series of unsolved crimes using current forensic techniques.

- University of Pennsylvania Summer Forensics Program
Over the course of four weeks, participants explore various forensic science topic areas through a series of lectures (by forensics experts), lab work, and site visits. The list includes: RECOVERY Crime Scene Investigation; archaeological techniques of body recovery; forensic scene investigations and sites of mass murder including a discussion of the World Trade Center recovery operation; THE EVIDENCE Forensic anthropology; the assessment of age, sex, and race; DNA fingerprinting; fingerprints; ballistics; flesh reconstruction; forensic dentistry; superimposition; pathology; establishment of the time of death; forensic entomology; forensic toxicology; hair and fiber analysis; trauma analysis; THE AFTERMATH Forensic psychology; the courtroom and presenting the evidence; homicide police investigation, various case studies are included in the program, as well as critiques of the popular TV series CSI.

Camp runs Monday-Friday, July 24-28 9:00am-4:00pm.
For overnight campers: cost of the one-week residential program is $595. Fees include room and board. For day campers: cost of the one week program is $295. In this exciting program, students explore how science meets the law, and how critical thinking, teamwork and evidence collection are at the center of forensic science. You will discover how forensic teams bring together expertise from a variety of fields. Over the course of the four weeks, participants explore a number of the topic areas that come under the umbrella of forensic science through a series of lectures, lab work, and site visits. The list includes: recovery, the evidence, and the aftermath. Focuses on the gathering and examination of forensic evidence with hands-on activities followed by the solution of a simulated mystery. The activities include isolation and amplification of DNA, construction of DNA fingerprints, analysis of microscopic fiber and hair.
